Ribbon Cutting with Mayor Gray

Dates: Friday, November 16, 2012 • 11am

Please join us on Friday, November 16th at 11:00am for the Ribbon Cutting of Canal Park!

With honored guests including Mayor Vincent Gray, Rep. Eleanor Holmes Norton, Councilmember Tommy Wells and many more!

After the ceremony the Ice Skating Rink will be open for FREE ice skating (includes skate rental) from 12pm-2pm, then open from 2pm-9pm at regular rates with ice performances at the top of each hour from 4pm - 7pm. Below is a breakdown of the ice rink events.

Admission is $8 Adults/$7 Kids, Seniors, Military

Ice rink events:

Friday, November 16th
10:30-Noon - Skaters provided by DC ICE *Slapshots and Red Rockers
4pm DC ICE Demonstration
5pm Figure Skating Performance
6pm Icersize Demonstration
7pm (Figure Skating Performance or Speed Skating Demo)
*Coaches available to do free 15 minute lessons after each performance and will remain on the ice to assist beginner skaters as well.
